The Hobart and Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo is a free event promoting employment, training, support services and career pathways across the greater Southern Tasmania region.

If your resume needs a little attention, Workskills Tasmania will also be providing free resume support in their dedicated resume room.

The Hobart and Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo is an inclusive and accessible event, and welcomes participants of all abilities.
Volunteers will be on-hand to assist visitors if required, including volunteers from the Migrant Resource Centre and Troublesmiths who will be available to assist with language peer support if required.

The Hobart and Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo is a free event proudly presented by the Glenorchy Jobs Hub, with kind support from the Glenorchy City Council, Workforce Australia and Jobs Tasmania.
This is a safe and all-inclusive event welcoming participants and exhibitors from diverse backgrounds, nationalities and orientations. Our event also abides by both GCC and the Tasmanian Government Child-safe framework.
The organisers acknowledge the Palawa Community (the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community) as the original owners and continuing custodians of this island, Lutruwita (Tasmania) and pay our respect to elders past, present and emerging.
Transport Options
The Hobart and Southern Tasmania Employment & Careers Expo is grateful to our amazing partners at Area Connect who are generously providing a FREE shuttle service to the expo between 10am and 2pm on event day. Below is the timetable for the shuttle between the Glenorchy Bus Mall (Stop J) and MystateBank Arena
Please note - this free shuttle service is a direct service only. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a pick-up/set-down service outside the Bus Mall>Arena route. For additional support with transport options please contact the team from Area Connect - https://areaconnect.org.au/contact-us/
